today in class we continued to learn about population pyramids. I learned about how you can learn things about an area by the pyramids shape and why some ages have more people than others. for example you can tell when there is a military town because there is a large population of young men. also you can tell when it is a college town because there is a large number of boys and girls in there early twenties. I also learned that in japan and countries where the old population it much larger than the new that they are going to have a lot of problems later because there population is going to decrease a lot and there not going to have enough young people to do jobs that are needed. then we went on a website and I liked it a lot. it showed you the triangles for countries. it helped because it told you the amount of people in age and helped you compare different ages. also you could look at what they predicted it would look like in later years. I liked this because you could see how areas are going to improve and what ones are going to have problems in later years. I like learning about population pyramids.
today in class we took a test on the world leaders. the test was easier than I thought it was going to be. i thought I was going to have to know the type of government they have and i couldn't remember what those where. The part about the special facts about the leaders was the hardest part and i think i did good on that. but there was some i really didn't know and I'm pretty sure i got them wrong. but i think all together i did pretty good on the test. also i was very stressed because i had an F in the class and you still hadn't got my project so i thought i was going to fail. but i was just sending it to the wrong email. so i think i will be able to get my grade up to and A with those two assignments turned in. I liked this class a lot and I'm going to miss it next semester.
